This article explains the different types of activities that may be used within a lesson on Blueprint.

- Hide Until Thread Created
- Instructors can require students to create a thread before they can see other student’s threads and replies.
We have also retained the ability to view deleted comments as the instructor, in the case that deleted comments/replies occur. A screenshot below shows this in action:
Assignments/Tests

- Each assignment or test can contain multiple different types of questions that are deemed necessary by the Instructor.

- Multiple Selection - not autograded
- Custom Multiple Selection questions can be created with one or multiple options being the right answer.
- These questions will be manually graded by the Instructor and can give full, partial, or no points for the Student’s answer.
- Text Answer
- Custom Text Answer questions can be created where Students can fill in the blank, short or long text answer responses.
- These questions will be manually graded by the Instructor and can give full, partial, or no points for the Student’s answer.
Journal
Within your lessons, Instructors are able to create a Journal submission section(s) to allow the students a private section of self-reflection throughout the unit or at the end of the unit. Instructors can title the Journals as desired, and the entries can marked as graded or not as well as editing how the students can receive credit for their submission.
Rich Text
Within lessons, Instructors are able to create steps that simply provide instruction using a Rich Text editor. Rich Text is a digital text format that includes formatting and styling features. Instructors have the ability to create custom content with the functions found in document software. In Rich Text, Instructors can go over lessons, give directions, and take other actions that would be possible with document software--like embed video, etc.
